Infrared Photography Course FAQ

I'm using Lightroom Classic (or Photoshop Camera Raw or another raw editor). Is this course right for me?

This first course is targeted at Lightroom users. All of the fundamentals in this course apply to both Lightroom (cloud) and Lightroom Classic. Lightroom Classic has a slightly different interface, but it primarily uses the same functionality as Lightroom. Many keyboard shortcuts differ between Lightroom and Lightroom Classic.

I'm developing courses that will cover similar content specifically for Lightroom Classic and Photoshop Camera Raw. I will track these on the courses page. If Lightroom Classic or Photoshop Camera Raw is your primary editor, I recommend waiting for these courses.

For other raw editors, this course has limited value. I haven't yet planned courses for other raw editors, but I welcome your input.

Can you download the course for offline viewing?

Yes! Individual lessons can be downloaded for viewing when you don't have an internet connection.

I just converted a camera to 830nm. Is this course right for me?

While the course includes a few lessons that address monochrome or black-and-white processing, the primary focus is on color infrared photography. I'm considering additional content to delve deeper into monochrome.

What if I have questions about a lesson?

Each lesson features a discussion section, where you can ask questions about the material. Click the Discussions button in the upper-right corner of each lesson to ask a question. These discussions are viewable by everyone enrolled.
